Share Your Ideas with Other Educators

We’re looking forward to the Los Angeles Regional SMART User Conference and are seeking presenters for the event.

 

We know a wealth of knowledge about SMART products exists in Los Angeles educators – people like you who are using the products in your classroom to enhance teaching and learning. We want to hear your stories. Do you have ideas, best practices or resources to share?

 

If you would like to become a presenter please register online. We ask that you offer your session twice and that sessions are 60 min in length, leaving some time for discussion at the end.

Share SMART Product Ideas and Resources

Los Angeles Regional SMART User Conference

A wealth of knowledge about SMART products exists in your local educators – in people like you who are passionate about the products and their role in enhancing teaching and learning.

That’s why I’m so pleased to announce a Los Angeles Regional SMART User Conference. It’s a forum that will enable Los Angeles educators to share ideas, approaches and best practices for using SMART products in learning environments. It will also facilitate the exchange of content and resources throughout the region.

I invite you to attend this event, where you’ll have the opportunity to network with other educators, share resources and build skills. Your participation will contribute to the development of a strong community of SMART users in California. You’ll leave the event with new ideas for making the most of your SMART products and increasing student engagement in your classroom.

SMART Content Creation Seminar! August 19th-21st 2009

Discover how to create professional, interactive and sharable SMART NotebookTM software lesson activities participate in SMART’s Californian Content Creation Seminar in Santa Monica at the Will Rogers Learning Community school.

SMART is offering this seminar to Californian educators who are enthusiastic about designing lesson activities to increase student engagement and participation. You’ll have the opportunity to enhance yourability to use SMART products in your classroom and create content that you can share with other California educators.

You’ll learn tips and tricks for using SMART Notebook software’s interactive design and delivery tools and the Lesson Activity Toolkit. SMART’s own content developers will be on hand throughout the seminar to guide and assist in your lesson creation.

  • You are a current full- or part-time teacher in California
  • You want to increase your skills in creating dynamic SMART Notebook lesson activities
  • You have at least 1 year of SMART Board interactive whiteboard experience and have attended training either online, at your school site, or any other form.

    Interactive White Board Resources for LAUSD Teachers

    This Edublogs will keep SMART Technology-Interactive White Board LAUSD User Groups connected to each other.

    Activities will include:

    1. Share Notebook files created using SMART Technology.
    2. Share best practices and resources.
    3. Post links to the latest video resources, and files.
    4. Keep and post an updated calendar of scheduled PDs on the use of SMART Boards.
    5. Post a list of trainers who have taught the salary point course and who can deliver that PD at school sites.
